Nicole Kidman "Excited" For Son Connor Over First Film Role

Pregnant Nicole Kidman is really happy for her son Connor after he has landed his first movie role.

Nicole's rep says in a statement that the actress is "really excited for Connor."

13-year-old Connor was adopted by the multi-award winning actress and her then-husband Tom Cruise in 1995. He had landed the minor role on the film drama "Seven Pounds" as a young Will Smith. His part was shot more than a month ago.

Getting the part without help from his famous parents had made his dad proud.

A source had said, "Tom is so proud of Connor. He's proud of him for really doing this on his own."

Mom Nicole is currently expecting her first child with country singer husband Keith Urban this summer. She and Tom has another adopted child named Isabella, 15.
