Nicole Kidman's Adopted Children Visit Her Newborn Baby

July 22, 2008

Nicole Kidman's adopted children Connor and Isabella met the actress' new baby over the weekend.

The 'Moulin Rouge!' star - who gave birth to Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith Urban, earlier this month - invited her children from her marriage to ex-husband Tom Cruise to meet the new addition to their family at her Nashville home.

An insider said: "Both Connor and Isabella were thrilled to meet their new sister."

It was recently claimed Tom had banned 15-year-old Isabella and 13-year-old Connor from being present when Nicole gave birth on July 7.

A source said: "The bottom line is that while Nicole really wanted them there, she didn't push for Isabella and Connor to be at the bedside because Tom wasn't happy about it."

"The irony is that she had the baby in the U.S. partly because she wanted Connor and Isabella to have easy access to the child. But that doesn't seem to have helped things with Tom."
