Paterno Covered Up Sandusky Child Abuse

It just came up that Joe Paterno actually participated in Jerry Sandusky's crimes. Not necessarily by doing the dirty deed himself but by keeping it secret.

The Freeh Group, an independent group that investigated on the case that was hired by the Board of Trustees of Penn State, just found out that Paterno actually knew about the wrong doings for more than ten years. But he isn't alone, because some Penn State officials were also in the said cover-up.

They didn't do anything about the reports on an allegation against Sandusky back in 1998 and onwards. They did so because they didn't want the school to suffer from bad publicity. Looks like it didn't work at all for Penn State is in such turmoil these days because of the said case.
