Paul Bettany Terrified Of Working With Wife Jennifer Connelly In New Film

Paul Bettany was terrified about working alongside his wife Jennifer Connelly in new movie "Creation." The 37-year-old actor - who raises two children with Jennifer, who he has been married to for four years - was unsure whether he would be able to control himself when shooting the couple's first film together.

He said: "We were both a bit concerned that we wouldn't be able to do it. The night before we started filming, we looked at each other and said, 'What are we going to do if the camera rolls and we just start giggling?' She and I know each other in an extraordinarily intimate way, obviously. We are not just husband and wife. We are also parents of children and you really find out about each other when you do the job of parenting. But it was the easiest it has ever been, ever, making a film."

Paul - who can soon be seen starring alongside Queen Latifah and Jennifer Hudson in "The Secret Life of Bees" - also revealed he took the role of Dustfinger in fantasy movie "Inkheart" purely for the enjoyment of his and Jennifer's five-year-old son Stellan and Jennifer's 11-year-old son Kai.

He added to Britain's The Independent newspaper: "Starring in this film made me a complete hero! It was really lovely to make a film my children could see. I don't really want them to see me naked and whipping myself in "The Da Vinci Code!'"
