Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney is said to be singing at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. The future king and queen of England reportedly have specifically asked for the music icon because his 68-year-old music appeals to everyone, including the Queen. According to Daily Star, McCartney has already been booked for the Buckingham Palace reception. He reportedly feels "very privileged" to be chosen. A friend told the tabloid, "William and Kate have chosen their wedding list and Paul McCartney is their No. 1 choice to perform. They can't think of anyone more perfect to kick off proceedings." But a palace spokesman refused to confirm or deny the rumor, telling the paper that "none of it has been finalized." The couple's wedding will be held in Westminster Abbey on April 29. |
