Peaches Geldof Unhurt After High-Speed Car Crash

British socialite Peaches Geldof has escaped serious injuries after surviving a high-speed car crash in California on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old daughter of musician Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, was on her way to Disneyland when the vehicle spun out of control.

Geldof was with four of her friends when the driver's foot slipped on the pedals, sending their car into a 360 degree spin on a freeway.

Just minutes before the accident, she wrote on her Twitter, "Speeding like I have never, ever witnessed before on the freeway courtesy of @thedeathqueen - feel like I'm in a scary car chase video game."

The post was then followed by: "Just actually experienced a full on car crash."

"Honestly can't believe were alive after that. And that the front of the car is totally f***** up and yet were still carrying on to Disney!?"

Her friend, who was driving the vehicle, wrote on the micro-blogging site that she was just trying to get them all to Disney on time when her foot slipped on the pedals.
