Pete Wentz Struggles To Control His Anxiety

January 5, 2009

Pete Wentz is always paranoid. The Fall Out Boy rocker struggles to control his anxiety and says medication no longer helps his problem.

He admitted: "I'm paranoid pretty much all the time. I can take three Xanax and not feel a thing."

Pete - whose wife Ashlee Simpson gave birth to their first child, son Bronx Mowgli, in November - also revealed he has stopped reading about himself online because the barrage of criticism gets him down.

He added to Blender magazine: "I was letting the blogs get to me. It's semi-frustrating when your name actually becomes a synonym for douche bag."

Pete's decision to avoid blogs may help with his new year's resolution. The 29-year-old musician has vowed to control his language around his family.

He explained: "I'm working on not swearing around Bronx. I know I have a bit of a bad mouth."

Pete recently revealed he and Ashlee are planning more children in the future.

He said: "I want to have six now. I mean not six specifically, but I want more. I can't imagine that we're stopping, you know what I'm saying?"

"This is like a Journey song, it's like the chorus is just going to keep coming."
