Phillips Leaves Hospital After Surgery

American Idol Season 11 winner, Phillip Phillips, is reported to be released from the hospital after going under the knife for more than 6 hours.

His doctors say that the surgery was a success but it took so long because the stint placed in Phillip’s kidney had been there for a long time before surgery.

He is reportedly recovering in a Malibu mansion courtesy of one of the American Idol franchise’s big men. Phillip hopes to recover in time for the Idol tour that will start in Detroit on July 6.

According to Phillip, “If I can sing with all those kidney stones in me, I can make the first date.”
