Pink To Give Away Ex-Husband Carey Hart At His Wedding

Pink wants to give her estranged husband away if he marries again. The "So What" singer has revealed she and Carey Hart have remained close since they separated last year and she would support him if he ever decides to commit to someone else.

Pink said: "I told him that I would give him away at his next wedding."

The couple announced they were planning to divorce in February 2008 after two years of marriage.

Although Pink and Carey spent New Year's Eve together, the 29-year-old singer admits they have struggled to adapt to their new relationship as just friends.

She said: "It's up and down. You have strong moments and you have weak moments. But it's not just been devastating - it's been freedom, too."

Pink's hit single "So What" - which featured Carey in the music promo - was inspired by her relationship meltdown, but she wishes chart success could have come without the heartbreak.

The feisty singer told Seventeen magazine: "It's amazing to be number one. But it's ironic that it took breaking-up to get there. It's a testament to how often people break-up, because everyone can relate to what I'm saying."

The single "So What" achieved chart success around the world, reaching the number one spot in both the U.S. and U.K.
