Prince Charles To Appear Alongside Harrison Ford And Cate Blanchett In Ad Campaign |

Britain's Prince Charles is set to appear alongside Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett in an advertising campaign. The 62-year-old royal will reportedly star in a short film designed to rally support for the Prince's Rainforest Project and other tree conservation charities. The film is currently in the early stages of production but it is said to feature a variety of dignitaries and Hollywood celebrities, including the "Elizabeth" and "Indiana Jones" stars. It will be the first time a member of Britain's royal family has been featured in an advertising campaign. The 60-year-old prince - who is the next in line to the throne - is actively involved in the environment. Last November he visited Tokyo to urge people to put the "climate crunch" before the "credit crunch." He described climate change as the "the biggest challenge our planet has ever seen," saying the world is in a "battle for survival." He said: "We take our eye off the climate crunch at our peril. While we hope and pray that the underlying strengths of the global economy will - once again - enable it to bounce back, the effects of climate change will be far from temporary and will, indeed, be irreversible." |
