London, United Kingdom (AHN Entertainment) - Prince Harry is not only a prince, he is also a captain now. The third in line to the British throne has been given a new title, Captain in the British Army, after he was promoted from lieutenant Thursday.

The 26-year-old younger brother of Prince William, now known as Captain Harry Wales, received the promotion Thursday in honor of the time he has served in the Armed Forces, according to royal officials, via E! News.

He is now qualified as an Apache helicopter pilot as well, which means that he is qualified to fly an Apache helicopter without an instructor, and is expected to undergo an eight-month weapons handling course to become a fully-functioning Army Air Corps pilot.

The palace said he will be based at Wattisham Airfield in Suffolk and will train in the U.S.

With his promotion, Prince Harry may be donning a new uniform when he does his duty as William's best man on his wedding to Kate Middleton on April 29.
