Prince Harry Wears A Rastafarian Costume As A Disguise At A Party

Britain's Prince Harry wears a Rastafarian costume when he wants to go unnoticed. The 24-year-old royal - who is third in line to the throne - dressed up as his dreadlocked alter-ego, nicknamed "Winston," at a warehouse party in East London recently.

Friends claim the prince - who is known for being a "joker" - also wears the guise to go clubbing with friends without being recognized.

A source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "When his security guards suggested he wear a disguise to have more of a normal life, they didn't think he would turn it into a Rasta, but that's Harry for you."

"He's a real joker and he thought this would give his friends a good laugh. It's been the perfect way for Harry to go out without being the center of attention."

"He even calls himself Winston when he wears his outfit. He doesn't mean anything by it. It's just a joke and he would never mean to offend anyone."

In 2005 Harry was criticized after dressing in a Nazi costume at a fancy dress party.

A palace insider has admitted many members of the royal dress up when they want to avoid being recognized and it has been reported Harry's older brother William, 27, wears a moustache and a flat cap.

In 2000 Harry's father Prince Charles, wore a green, yellow, red and black knitted Rastafarian hat and wig during his royal tour of Jamaica.
