Serbia's Princess Katherine attended the christening of her godson in Greece this week.
Over 1,000 guests - including family, friends and political and business figures - attended the baptism of Alexander George Michael, son of David Andrews and his partner Angeliki Margariti-Andrews at the ceremony at St. Dionysious the Areopagite Church in Athens.
David is the son of Katherine - who goes by the title Crown Princess of Yugoslavia - and Jack W. Andrews, who she divorced in 1984, the year before she married Crown Prince Alexander II.
The Christening was officiated by His Beatitude Hieronymos II Archbishop of Athens and All Greece and Primate of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece, and Alexander's godparents were Prokopis Pavlopoulos, Minister of the Interior of Greece, his wife, Angeliki Frangou, and Olga Lymperi Alexander's parents asked guests not to buy gifts, instead requesting they make a donation to Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organization.
Following the ceremony a reception took place at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in Athens.
