Rachael Ray Upset Over Unauthorized Good Housekeeping Cover Photo

Rachael Ray is upset at Good Housekeeping for putting her on the cover without her authorization. The women's magazine used quotes from the TV host's previous interviews for its July issue.

The magazine apparently also used images shot by photographer Jim Wright for a February 2008 cover shoot for Ray's own Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine.

Sources told New York Post that GH had repeatedly asked her to appear on their cover, but she always refused because the celebrity chef also appears on Every Day's cover every month.

A spokesman from her magazine told Page Six, "We are disappointed that a respected publication such as Good Housekeeping is essentially using, without permission, Rachael's image, words and thoughts in an attempt to sell a few more magazine."

To which a GH rep replied, "The photo expresses her personality, and we hope the story gives readers a snapshot of her busy life, career and passion for entertaining."
