It is official, everyone! .com/celebs/randy_jackson'>Randy Jackson is officially out of American Idol. This may be a downer to most AI fans but everyone should just look at this as a growth. It's actually about time for the show to evolve and that could only be possible if the old judges get the boot.

According to sources, even if Randy will not be judging straight from the judges' table it still looks like he will be staying with the show as a mentor.

As for the replacement judges, well sources say .com/celebs/nicki_minaj'>Nicki Minaj's deal is almost done but there had been rumors that .com/celebs/mariah_carey'>Mariah Carey is not that fond of Nicki so we're still not sure if she's on board.
