Rapper Snoop Dog Requests The Support Of The Princes In U.K. Visa Battle

April 17, 2008

Rapper Snoop Dog is requesting the help of the royals Prince William and Prince Harry in the fight to win his visa battle with U.K. authorities.

Snoop Dog, real name Calvin Broadus Jr., was banned from entering the country after the rapper was involved in a fight at London's Heathrow Airport in April of 2006. The ruling was overturned in early 2008 after Snoop wrote to the British government asking for the ban to be revoked.

But Britain's Border Agency confirmed in early April that they were planning to challenge the ruling in court.

The rapper continues to claim that he did nothing wrong and is determined to be allowed to return to the U.K., even if it means on calling on the Princes, who Snoop says are fans of his.

He says, "I'm not an aggressive individual at all and I've been wrongfully accused. I've not done anything to the people of Britain. I've never got into trouble, never violated him, never disrespected them, and I've always shown them love and turned up."

He continues on to say, "What did I do? Who did I offend? You should talk to the Princes- William and Harry- I bet they want me there!"
