Rapper T.I. Replies To The Mother Of His Sons' Child Support Claims

Rapper T.I. has had enough of "deceiving information" about his child support case. He lashes out at the mother of his two sons, who claims he doesn't give enough for the kids.

Lashon Dixon, mother of the hip-hop artist's sons Domani (8) and Messiah (7), has filed a lawsuit againt him claiming he only gives $2,000 a month in child support payments.

However, T.I. - real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. - denies his ex-girlfriend's assertions. He says that other than the $2,000 child support monthly payment he gives Dixon, he also pays for his sons' education and other extra-curricular activities.

He releases a statement to StreetCred.com:

"To clarify the recent reports, in addition to the $2,000 per month I pay in cash to Lashon Dixon, the mother of my sons Domani and Messiah, I also pay for their private schooling, medical insurance, clothing, food, gifts, birthdays and extracurricular activities."

"Their extracurricular activities have included football, basketball, baseball, acting lessons, summer camp, and any other activities that they express a desire to be involved in that will contribute to them leading balanced lives and developing into well rounded individuals."

He added that he also made an attempt to help Dixon with additional payments, including down payment to buy her own home, automobile and other financial obligations as she chose not to work and to just live from the child support receipts.

T.I. dated Dixon before he became famous.
