Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - Rocker Rick Springfield has been charged with two counts of DUI which stems from his Malibu arrest back in May. According to TMZ, Springfield blew a .10 after the L.A. County Sheriffs pulled him over on May 1 and the 80's rocker preceded to threaten the deputy after learning that his car would be towed. "It is rare when a drunk doesn't say something outlandish to police when they're arrested," an L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson explained. The spokesperson also added that the official didn't take the threat seriously. Springfield will not be charged for the threats. If convicted on both DUI counts, Springfield faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. |
