Rihanna Shows Off New Empowering Tattoo |

"Never a failure, always a lesson," that's Rihanna's new motto. The "Umbrella" hitmaker has showed off her new tattoo, which she has inked backwards on her collarbone so she can read it while looking in the mirror. According to tattoo artist Keith "Bang Bang" McCurdy, who drew the tattoo at his parlor, the 21-year-old singer explained to him what the empowering message means. He told OK! magazine, "I asked her why she wanted that and she said, 'It's kind of my motto in life for everything. Instead of considering things to be mistakes, considering them lessons.'" Rihanna also wanted the ink to be done in gray, rather than the usual black, because she wanted it to appear more subtle and not draw too much attention unlike her gun tattoo, which she had made on her right ribcage. |
