Ronnie Wood's girlfriend threatened to kill herself because he wouldn't let her model for him. Ekaterina Ivanova has been accused of using the Rolling Stones rocker to further her career and was left furious when told she wouldn't be fronting the advertising campaign for his forthcoming fashion range.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "The brand loved Ronnie's creations but when he pulled out a nude photo of his girlfriend, a few eyebrows shot up."

"A lot of people see Ekaterina as fame-hungry - there is no way they'd approve her image on the clothes."

"Ekaterina saw Ronnie's clothing as a springboard to getting out there."

Following her rejection - which also included Ronnie turning down her request to model for him at Paris Fashion Week - the couple had a screaming argument on Monday which led to police being called after the 20-year-old Russian threatened to kill herself.

It has now been claimed that Ronnie, 62, has moved out of the north London home he shares with Ekaterina.

Ronnie and Ekaterina have been dating since last summer, when he left his wife of 23 years Jo Wood and fled to Ireland with his young lover for a drinking binge.
