Ryan Seacrest's Stalker Given Maximum Jail Sentence

June 15, 2010 Ryan Seacrest, 10 Years

"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest's stalker has been sentenced to a maximum term of two years imprisonment. Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr., 26, previously pleaded no contest to the crime.

Uzomah Jr., who has been in jail since he was arrested last year, was already in probation after he attacked a member of Seacrest's security team.

He pleaded no contest for felony stalking, while his other two pending misdemeanor counts for violating his court order were dismissed.

He is told to serve two years in state prison, eonline.com said. The judge also issued a protective order that requires him to stay at least 500 yards away from Seacrest and his workplace for 10 years.
