Salma Hayek Says Her Daughter Is "A Dictator"

March 17, 2009

Salma Hayek says her daughter is a "dictator." The 42-year-old actress insists Valentina - her 17-month-old child with her businessman husband Francois Pinault - is the bossiest toddler she has ever met.

Salma said: "She's a little dictator!"

But the "Beverley Hills Chihuahua" star says Valentina's demanding personality only makes her more loveable.

She said: "She is unique, magical - definitely the most colorful person I've ever met. I feel so connected to her, but at the same time, we are completely different. I discover something new about her every day."

Salma recently revealed she suspects her daughter has a sixth sense that allows her to communicate with spirits.

She said: "Last night she saw a ghost. I'm convinced. She woke up and her eyes were open. And she's looking at one specific point and she's going, 'No no no no, au revoir,' which means goodbye in French."

"Then she started saying it in English, 'Bye bye, bye bye!'"

"I guess she was trying in different languages to see what nationality this ghost was to go away. It was terrifying!"
