Shannen Doherty Confesses Her Hurt At Being Known As The Bad Girl On Cover Of Radar Magazine

Shannen Doherty isn't the bad girl everyone believes her to be. She "confesses" the hurt she felt in the past when she read negative stories about her in the tabloids.

Posing on the cover of Radar magazine's October/November issue, the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star reveals that she cried to herself at night over the things she read about her in the past.

She tells the magazine, "I was exploring who I was as a person and testing my own boundaries and trying to be a normal, 18-, 19-, 20-year-old, and I got raked over the coals. Many nights I cried myself to sleep over that stuff."

She also reveals that the worst lie she ever read about herself was that she entered Alcoholics Anonymous, when in fact, she only accompanied her husband to the meetings.

She continues, "I've never been in AA. I accompanied my husband to AA meetings - actually, I forced him to go to one - but I've never actually gone for myself. Sometimes you can find some truth, a little nugget somewhere, but not one thing about this was true."
