Sharon Stone has a crush on teenage "Slumdog Millionaire" star Dev Patel. "Basic Instinct" star Sharon reportedly spent two days pursuing the 18-year-old actor during the BAFTA Awards weekend in London - much to his astonishment.

Dev told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Sharon is great, she has been flirting with me all night. She was chasing me around earlier, slapping me. Sharon Stone! Can you believe it!"

Sharon, 50, had originally approached Dev at a pre-BAFTAs party on Saturday, apparently whispering praise in his ear for his performance in "Slumdog Millionaire" - his debut film role.

An onlooker at the party said: "Dev is young enough to be her son - even her grandson, but that didn't seem to stop Sharon flirting with him."

Sharon sat close to Dev at the awards show on Sunday, and gave him a congratulatory kiss at the after-party to celebrate "Slumdog Millionaire" scooping seven of the prestigious awards.

The night didn't end smoothly for Sharon. She found herself stranded without a taxi to take her home from the party - held at London's Grosvenor House hotel.

An onlooker told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "After ranting for several minutes on her mobile phone, security took her back inside to wait for another car."
