Sofia Vergara has a Baby on the Way!

Sofia Vergara, the ravishing bombshell of “Modern Family,” is having a baby! Though, not in the usual way. Vergara, and her fiancé Nick Loeb, are moving forward with steps to have a surrogate baby.

This news comes at a funny, coincidental time because on the show ‘Modern Family’ her character just had a baby. Sofia acted out the roller-coaster ride of pregnancy and on set was weighed down with prosthetic baby bumps! It’s no wonder she may not want to go through the real thing!

The surrogate mother is going to be a close friend of Sofia’s, according to the New York Post. The procedure is in its earliest stages so it will be a few weeks before it will be known whether or not it was successful.

The baby will be biologically Sofia and Nick’s baby, and a source close to the couple reports the following:

“A baby is something they’ve both wanted for a while, particularly Nick, who has been pushing for it. He is a little uneasy that the surrogate is Sofia’s close friend, but is very excited about becoming a father.”

Vergara already has a 21-year-old son, Manolo, and has long wished for a sibling for him. Manolo will no doubt help to take care of the child while the sensuous and talented Sofia’s career is absolutely exploding!

Vergara is acting in the new season of “Modern Family.” She is promoting her Kmart clothing line. In addition, she is also investigating new career trajectories. These trajectories include the silver screen!

Sofia is currently contending for a few different roles. One part is in an action movie starring across of Jason Statham. Another is a comedy starring alongside Reese Witherspoon.

At this stage of Vergara’s career being pregnant would take her out of the running for these sexy roles. Sofia and Nick are happy to fulfill their desire for a baby via a surrogate.

They’ve been dating for three years, and the story behind their engagement is a dazzling one - the proposal occurring atop the Mayan ruins in Chichen Itza last summer.

Sofia Vergara was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. Her sexy, ferocious zest is incredible and shines through in every part she plays! And, Sofia has brains - she studied dentistry at Columbia.
