Modern Family star Sofia Vergara is single after her two year relationship with Nick Loeb suddenly ended. Sofia and Nick had appeared at 2012 White House Corresponding Dinner in Washington D.C. and seemed to have had tension between them. Some friends said she was looking beautiful but she did not seem happy with him at all.

The pair is said to have had a series arguments and on Monday this week,Sofia showed up on at the Costume Institute Gala in New York alone.

Sofia is said to have confided in some friends that her relationship was on the rocks. A source close to the couple said “They have been fighting a lot recently and have need on the brink of splitting many times.

A friend of Sofia’s also revealed that more pressure on the relationship has been caused by her growing fame and popularity. The good news is that it is not clear if the two are over for good, but currently they aren’t just together.
