Steve Burton Leaving GH

.com/celebs3/steve_burton'>Steve Burton, the actor playing Jason Morgan in General Hospital, will now be leaving his role in the esteemed show. Apparently, he'd been playing the said part of 21 years now, and he is finally ready to move on and face a new chapter in his life.

Well, 21 years is a heck of a long time. But he says that he was finally able to sell his LA home and was able to buy a new house in Tennessee, so he will be moving there with his wife and kids.

GH, without a doubt, wants him to stay, but he's already decided on the move and is expected to wrap up his character in as early as one month.

It is definitely a shame for the heart and soul of the show to leave. But fans should not fret because there had been reports that he is planning to work on a new TV show with .com/celebs/james_franco'>.com/celebs/james_franco'>James Franco, the man partially responsible for getting Steve on GH.
