Susan Boyle Shoots Down "Ugly Betty" Role Reports

"Britain's Got Talent" star Susan Boyle will not appear on "Ugly Betty." Contrary to recent rumors, the 48-year-old Web sensation was not scheduled to appear any time soon in the ABC series.

The Sun reports that SuBo - who shot to fame when the video footage of her audition at the U.K. talent show reached the Internet - was contacted by the network to play herself in the show.

A source said, "Susan has been bombarded with offers of work in America, but this is something she is really keen on and we hope to make happen."

However, an ABC rep said the rumor is entirely false, while a rep for Boyle said she is concentrating on her music.

The rep was quoted by thecelebritytruth.com as saying, "Susan has many offers on the table. At the moment she is looking forward to recording her album."
