The Jonas Brothers To Make Film Debut

October 28, 2008

Teen heartthrobs The Jonas Brothers are set to make their film debut in the 20th Century Fox film "Walter the Farting Dog."

Per Variety, the trio, plus their younger brother Frankie, will be starring in the film based on the bestselling book series by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray.

The brothers will star as musicians whose parents ask them to care their aunt's her smelly dog.

Director Peter Farrelly told Variety, "By the time they've driven the dog home, everybody's head is out the window of the family station wagon but Frankie, and only because he has a serious sinus problem and doesn't notice the stench coming from Walter."

While the older Jonases play music, Frankie and Walter get involved in a plot involving freeing a koi fish and thwarting jewel thieves.

The film will start shooting next spring.
