The prank caller who informed the police that there was gun violence at the homes of Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher is 12-years old!

TMZ has been informed that the boy lives with his mother in California. He has refused to go to school and sits on his computer all day and night communicating with other hackers.He is reported to be antisocial and preferring the keyboard as his personal contact.

Child Services tell TMZ that they have been at the boys apartment multiple times to help stabilize the situation but haven't made headway. According to TMZ the family is incredible dysfunctional.

The boy is reported to be smart and was able to evade the cops for months. Law enforcement however is sympathetic and are working on removing him from his home to a stable foster environment.

The authorities also want to get the lad counseling instead of punishment. They think he should be put on probation and if he completes his counseling, all charges will be dismissed.
