Tim Allenís car stolen by his supposed adopted son

November 27, 2012 Tim Allen

Tim Allenís customized 1996 Chevy Impala SS was stolen from his Los Angeles home by someone claiming to be his adopted son.

The thirty four year old identified as Faustino Ibarra was arrested on Friday after the Ibarra family reported finding the customized ride parked at their Colorado.

When he was arrested, Faustino insisted that he was driving the car with the actorís permission. He also insisted that he had told him that he was taking the Chevy to a cross-country drive to Colorado.

Speaking from his jailhouse with KDVR, Ibarra said ďIím trying to make it simple for you to understand. I didnít break into the garage. He left the door open and he left me the keys so I could get the car and take it to DenverĒ.

It got more shocking when Ibarra said he was adopted by Allen several years back and because of that relationship, Allen allowed him to take the car for a ride.

NY Daily News reports that according to police reports, Ibarra had been stalking the actor for years and he and he was not able to present any evidence that he was ever adopted by Allen. The L.A County police are yet to decide whether to extradite Ibarra back to California next week.

What is weird is that Tim Allenís camp has no comment on the issue. His representative told E! News that the actor will not comment on the issue since it is a police matter.
