Top 5 Strangest Celebrity Pasts!

March 4, 2013 Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Gerard Butler, Christopher Walken, Howard Stern, Drugs, Tim Allen

Some celebs have incredibly unexpected and mysterious pasts. What secrets have been hidden by the sands of time? Read on to find out the top 5!

1. Angelina Jolie wanted to be a Mortician

"It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with his funeral," Jolie told US Magazine.

Jolie is now writing and directing, so it looks like her funeral home dreams have passed away.

2. George Clooney Cut Tobacco to get to L.A.

In 1982, Clooney jumped into his rust bucket 76’ Monte Carlo and took off from Kentucky toward L.A. His traveling funds were the few bucks he saved up from cutting tobacco in Kentucky.

Yahoo Movies reports that Clooney’s car ‘guzzled oil and had ignition problems that forced him to keep it running on the side of the road while he caught an hour's worth of sleep.’

3. Tim Allen is one of the most successful Ex-Cons

In 1978, Tim Allen was busted in Detroit with a ton of cocaine. He had enough coke on him to be sentenced to prison for life. Allen ratted out 21 other individuals in the drug trafficking business and had his prison sentenced reduced to 5 years.

Allen got out in 2 ½ years and changed his last name. And now we know him as the Tool Man.

4. Gerard Butler was Jailed after coming to America

Butler graduated from Glasgow University with a law degree, but got canned at his first job for calling in too much. Then he came to America, and went wild.

“I came over to America. I was always getting in trouble. I was thrown in jail like a bunch of times. I was definitely drinking. I was not an alcoholic. I wouldn't say a drug addict at all. Yeah, I took drugs. I was a Venice Beach bum,” Butler said on Howard Stern’s show.

5. Christopher Walken was a Lion Tamer

Christopher Walken pretended to be the son of a small town circus ringleader. The old ringleader would do an act taming the big cats, and then as a gimmick a pubescent Walken came out dressed just like the ringleader.

“It would be announced that I was his son,” Walken told ShortList Magazine.

''When he was done with his act, he'd chase his big cats out and he left one little lioness, her name was Sheba, and I would come into the cage and wave the whip around and Sheba would do some tricks. But Sheba was like a big, nice, old dog,” Walken continued in his ShortList interview.
