Tori Spelling Has No Feud With Mom Candy

April 13, 2009

Tori Spelling still loves her mom - and vice versa. The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star denies she has a feud with mother Candy Spelling.

She told People magazine, "It's not like we're not talking, we just haven't talked. I love my mother. I've always loved her [and] no doubt she loves me. There's no feud. We simply never meshed."

Her denial comes on the heels of reports that both mother and daughter are estranged to each other even before her father's death.

Candy, who is currently putting up her mega-mansion she once shared with her family for sale for $150 million, told the same publication that she has never met Tori's second child and that she has no contact with her daughter anymore.

She told People, "I've tried to talk to her but that doesn't work. She may not even know why she's angry."

Tori admitted that she has yet to read her mother's memoir, "Stories from Candyland," but she still plans to do so.

She said, "If she wants to put her truth out there as she sees it, she's completely entitled to do that. I know she has a letter to the grandchildren in it, and I think that's perfectly lovely if that makes her happy. And you know, I hope she follows through on that. I hope they do mean the world to her and she does reach out to them."

Tori, who has two children - 2-year-old Liam Aaron and 10-month-old Stella Doreen - with husband Dean McDermott, will be releasing her new memoir, "Mommywood," on Tuesday.
