Trainer Gunnar Peterson Claims Rob Kardashian Will Spring Back Into Shape
|June 3, 2014 No Doubt, Rob Kardashian|
Rob Kardashian has been receiving some flak for his recent weight gain.
But he is determined to get back to shape with the help of his trainer Gunnar Peterson who spoke to E!News dishing out details of his gym routine.
"He's such a good guy," Peterson tells us. "Rob was a solid basketball player, a serious runner and he's a serious athlete. It's when life gets in the way, that's what makes it hard to get to the gym."
But Gunnar and Rob try to hit the gym whenever they can. It just gets challenging at times with Kardashian's busy schedule. "If it was Rob on his own, he'd be in every day," but Rob has a lot of commitments, "He's pitching shows, he's on a show, he has his sock line and other business ventures."
"People forget. They think these people are walking around just being celebrities. He has a sock line, he has shows in progress, he has a lot of things going on. A lot," Gunnar continued.
Peterson also praises Rob's persistence and determination when it comes to his workout. "Here's a guy fighting paparazzi getting in and out of the gym. This guy is fighting through human walls, to get to the gym. A lot of people have blown off workouts with a lot less obstacles.
"Rob is such a solid guy, when he gets in here. I don't care if he weighs 50, 100 or 200 pounds. He works like an athlete. He never tries to beg out of a set. He never tries to hop off the cardio a minute or two before. He goes the distance every time."
Peterson tells E! News "it kills me" to see all of the negativity surrounding Rob's weight, but he's sure that the haters will be eating their words soon.
"There's no doubt in my mind. With 26 years of training experience of doing this, I can tell you without hesitation that Rob Kardashian will get back to his best shape ever. There's not one doubt in my mind."
And if you find yourself in a slump, Gunnar offers this bit of advice: "Every time you see a video of Rob going in or out of the gym, use that as motivation as yourself. Here's a guy having to drive through the paparazzi obstacle course to get to the gym. He's getting it in, you can get it in, too."
