The big changes on "American Idol" just keep coming. Along with the addition of new judge Ellen DeGeneres, the show is changing the way it reveals its Top 24.

On Tuesday, February 16th, "Idol" history will change when, for the first time in nine seasons, some of the contestants will sing their way into the Top 24. Following a short deliberation by judges Simon, Ellen, Kara, and Randy after the performance, some of the semifinalists will be revealed during the special 2-hour episode.

The rest of the Top 24 will be revealed on Wednesday, February 17th in the nerve-wracking way "Idol" fans are used to. With after long consideration, the judges reveal to the contestants themselves whether they've made it or not.

"American Idol" airs this week on Tuesday, February 16th at 8pm-10pm ET/PT, and Wednesday, February 17th from 9pm-10pm ET/PT on Fox.
