"CSI" Catches Bieber Fever; Tween Star To Guest Star

Justin Bieber is a troubled teen, that's according to his upcoming guest role on "CSI." The current tween king will be guest starring in the season premiere of the CBS crime drama.

The 16-year-old "Baby" hitmaker will be playing Jason McCann, a troubled teen faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother, a decision that will lead him into an explosive confrontation with the CSI guys.

The plot is also the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season.

"CSI" exec producers Carol Mendelsohn, Don McGill and Anthony Zuiker said in a joint statement, "Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world. We'd like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers."

"This will be true event television. We're looking forward to Justin's dramatic star turn, not only in the premiere, but in a continuing season arc."

As for Bieber, he is not taking his acting debut lightly.

He wrote on Twitter: "morning world…we got the acting coach here…learning 'a new craft'"
