"Jersey Shore" To Remain In New Jersey

April 9, 2010 06:18 am CDT

"Jersey Shore" will remain in Jersey Shore, it has been announced. Despite moving to the sunny Miami to film the first part of the MTV reality show's second season, the self-confessed guidos and guidettes are moving back to Seaside Heights.

After all the troubles they have gone through to keep the new location a secret, MTV has announced that Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the overly tanned gang are coming back to New Jersey.

An MTV spokesperson said, "It's official, the 'Jersey Shore' cast began filming Season 2 in Miami. Once the boardwalk heats back up, the series will return to the Jersey Shore to complete the season."

Just call it a spring break.

Also, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick are all coming back for second season.

Tony DiSanto, MTV's president of programming, said, "It's like a big family reunion after all this time. We couldn't be more excited that the whole group is back together in Miami and that they'll be going back to Jersey when the sun heats up."
