Tampa, FL, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Wrestling legend "Macho Man" Randy Savage has died in a car accident Friday. The 58-year-old retired two-time World Wrestling Federation champ suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel of his vehicle in Tampa, Florida.

Florida Highway Patrol told TMZ that the wrestler, real name Randall Mario Poffo, was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median through oncoming traffic before he "collided head-on with a tree."

He and his wife, Lynn, who was a passenger in the vehicle, were both wearing seatbelts. He was taken to Largo Medical Center, where he died from injuries. His was taken to a different local hospital. She survived with minor injuries.

Police told the website that alcohol was not a factor in the accident. Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo, said that he suffered a heart attack around 9:25 a.m. when he lost control of his Jeep.

Randy's signature catchphrase in the ring was "Ooohhh yeah!" WWE once said of him, "There has never been a Superstar more colorful than 'Macho Man' Randy Savage."

He was also an actor and a hip-hop artist. He made appearances in several TV shows and in the 2002 film "Spider-Man." In 2003, he released the rap album titled "Be a Man."
