"The View" to tackle Casey Anthony case

LA, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - Coverage of the Casey Anthony trial is all over TV these days, and "The View" is no exception. "'The View' on Crime: Casey Anthony Trial" will begin next week.

Chris Cuomo, co-anchor of "20/20" and the chief law and justice correspondent for ABC News, will appear on "The View" to give viewers insight into the famous case. The special segments will air each day next week on the show.

The Casey Anthony trial has gained much media attention in the three years following 2-year-old Caylee's disappearance and later discovery of her body. Her mother, Casey, 25, is charged with first-degree murder in the death.

"The View" is hosted by five women who rarely hold back in their opinions. Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselback, and Sherri Shepherd are sure to offer their opinions on the trial as well.

Tune in Monday at 11 a.m. to ABC for coverage of the case.
