"Top Chef Masters" Rules Over Bravo's Ratings

Bravo's "Top Chef Masters" has scored the cabler's highest rated Wednesday series premiere ever in the 10 p.m. time slot.

According to the figures by Nielsen Media Research, the reality competition show, which debuted on Wednesday, delivered 1.37 million total viewers and 907,000 adults ages 18 to 49.

It beat Bravo's other hit cooking-themed series, "Top Chef," with 91 percent among adults and 96 percent among total viewers. Its 11 p.m. encore also attracted another 636,000 total viewers and 434,000 adults.

The network also boasts the show's popularity, citing the highest page views for a series premiere in nearly three years with 276,000 hits in its first day.

"Top Chef Masters" is a spin-off of the hit Bravo series "Top Chef." It features world-renowned chefs competing in weekly challenges.
