Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Beyoncé has been teasing fans with clips and trailers for her upcoming new music video, "Run the World (Girls)." But the video will get its world premiere on Wednesday night's "American Idol."

Beyoncé confirmed that the highly anticipated clip, which features the 29-year-old star on horseback and in the desert, will debut during the three finalists' performances on "Idol."

Following its prime-time debut, which will hopefully do for the single what it did for Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" following its "Idol" premiere, the video will be available for viewing online.

"Run the World (Girls)," co-written by "Single Ladies" collaborator Terius "The-Dream" Nash and produced by Switch, Knowles, and Shea Taylor, has so far peaked at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100.

It's the first single from her upcoming album, "4," which is expected to hit stores in the summer.
