Bristol Palin And Mark Ballas Receive Death Threats For "Dancing"

It's down to the finale this week on "Dancing with the Stars." And not only do some obsessed fans want Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas off the show, they want them offed.

Palin and Ballas have received death threats and the show has had to heighten security for its final episodes. According to TMZ, the threats began last week once the pair made the finals.

Palin and Ballas, one of three remaining dancing pairs on the show, have received plenty of attention for being recognized as the worst couple on the show yet continuing to be voted back into the show the following week.

They'll square off with Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer, as well as Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough, but hopefully, not any of the crazed fans. If the couple makes it to New York for the final results show, the show is even reportedly planning on moving outside interviews inside where its safer.

TMZ also reported that a "fan letter" to Bristol received by a show staffer included a white powder, which turned out to be talcum powder. The FBI is investigating the incident.

"Everyone is genuinely worried," a source told TMZ. "This is a dance competition, and it's just gotten crazy."

The two-part finale of "Dancing with the Stars" airs Monday night with the results show following Tuesday on ABC.
