Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Charlie Sheen's "winning" strategy may be working because CBS apparently wants him back even after everything. The eye network's president and CEO Les Moonves is reportedly speaking directly to Warner Bros. top execs to bring back the recalcitrant actor in "Two and a Half Men."

According to a source, Moonves also spoke directly to the series co-creator, Chuck Lorre, who is the target of the actor's "violent hatred," in a bid to bring the two camps in agreement.

"Moonves told Chuck Lorre that he should 'let us handle Charlie," the insider said, adding that the network honcho "wants to get the show back on the air. He's all for it. He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie's done recently and just move on with the business at hand."

"The core issue is,a s he put it, the volatile relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. He believes that if CBS and Warner Bros. TV honchos can find a way to get Chuck and Charlie to speak again, cooler heads will prevail."

Sheen is suing Lorre and Warner Bros. for $100 million after they fired him from the show. He is now set to perform on a tour, with 20 concert dates planned.
