After ABC announced the show's cancellation, fans of "Samantha Who?" have been figuring out ways to get their voice heard by the network. An online petition has been started to save the comedy which is being pushed by no other than the show's star, Christina Applegate.

Applegate has posted the link to the petition on her Twitter various times, including noting that she wants a certain amount of signatures on it soon. "I want 10,000 signatures by Monday. Am I being greedy?" she writes on her page.

The show began airing on Monday nights after "Dancing with the Stars" and was a ratings success. After scheduling changes and extended weeks of non-airings, the ratings began to suffer. Some fans note they weren't even aware of the show's change to Thursday nights, due to ABC's lack of promotion.

The petition, which was started by one fan, will be sent to ABC Studios. It currently has over 2400 signatures.

The petition to save "Samantha Who?" can be found at http://www.petitiononline.com/sw2000/petition.html.
