Friday Night Primetime TV Schedule Includes Season Premiere Of "Gone Country 2"

The second season of CMT's "Gone Country" begins Friday night, featuring Sebastian Bach, Irene Cara, Mikalah Gordon, Jermaine Jackson, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lorenzo Lamas and Sean Young as they compete for a chance at country music success. Country singer-songwriter John Rich returns as host.

The CW also offers a new "Friday Night SmackDown!" and Fox will air an exhibition game between Oakland and Tennessee on "NFL Football."

A listing of Friday night primetime shows includes, according to Celebrity News Service (All times are Eastern Standard Time):

ABC will air a repeat of the always funny movie "Legally Blonde" at 8 p.m.

CBS will offer a new "Swingtown" at 10 p.m.

NBC will continue Olympic coverage starting at 8 p.m.

Fox has "NFL Football" at 8 p.m.

ABC Family will show two solid hours of "That '70s Show" starting at 8 p.m.

Animal Planet will have a new episode of "Meerkat Manor" at 8:30 p.m. and a new "Extraordinary" at 9 p.m.

CMT will air the premiere of the second season of "Gone Country 2" at 8 p.m. and then will air it again at 10 p.m.

TLC will air a new episode of "What Not to Wear" at 9 p.m.

USA will have a new episode of "Monk" at 9 p.m.
