Jessica Capshaw's stay on "Grey's Anatomy" has been extended. The 32-year-old actress, who showed up at Seattle Grace hospital as pediatrician Arizona Robbins last month, has singed a deal to appear on more episodes.
According to EW.com, Capshaw has inked a contract to appear in all remaining episodes this season with an option to return as a series regular for the ABC medical drama next fall. She was initially signed for only three episodes.
Capshaw's Dr. Robbins has been linked as a possible romantic interest for Callie Torres, played by Sara Ramirez. Her stay in the show should answer those who are criticizing the show for being anti-gay after it got rid of Callie's first girlfriend, Dr. Erica Hahn, played by Brooke Smith.
Capshaw is perhaps best known for her role as Attorney Jamie Stringer in the now-defunct legal show "The Practice."
