Jon Gosselin Denies Exploiting Children For Reality Show

Reality star Jon Gosselin of TLC's "Jon and Kate Plus 8" responds to allegations that he and wife Kate are exploiting their eight children.

Jon and Kate suddenly found themselves at the center of a Pennsylvania Child Labor investigation after someone called authorities about their alleged questionable child rearing method.

Jon replied to People magazine when asked about the subject, "Exploited? I don't even want to use that word, because I think it's ridiculous."

He insists that his children are happy and his top priority is to continue that happiness, even if that means leaving the show.

While others are criticizing the parents for dragging their children in front of a camera, some are actually praising them for their "business savvy" choice in providing for their brood.

CNBC legal commentator Alexis Martin Neely said that Jon and Kate's salaries alone would not be able to provide for the whole family. Their decision to get the children in front of the camera and still make it enjoyable and normal for them is a good choice.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the show has put strains on the couple's relationship. Their children may seem healthy and happy, but the husband and wife's relationship is on the decline.

Jon was recently spotted carrying baggage and apparently moving out of their Pennsylvania home.
