Kara DioGuardi inks deal for another reality series |

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Just a few days before her new reality show "Platinum Hit" hits the airwaves, Kara DioGuardi is already doing another reality series. Bravo has announced that they are developing another show that will star the former "American Idol" judge. The series, with a working title "Kara," will follow Kara's life as a music producer, publisher, record executive, and multi-platinum songwriter, according to TVGuide.com. She said, "I am excited to broaden my relationship with Bravo. I am a fan of the network and appreciate how their programming gives the audience a bird's eye view into different industries and really uncover what makes people tick." Meanwhile, Kara will lead the "Platinum Hit" talent show, in which 12 singer-songwriters compete through challenges to win a publishing and recording deal, as well as a cash prize of $100,000. Country singer-songwriter Jewel will host the show, which will debut on Monday. |
