Ludacris Battles Tommy Lee In New TLC Series "Battleground Earth"

Rap icon Ludacris and rock superstar Tommy Lee are set to battle against each other and against the toxic forces destroying Mother Earth in the new TLC series "Battleground Earth."

Premiering Thursday on Planet Green, the show will feature the two artists as they embark on the road in a 9-city tour across the country while they, along with their respective teams, battle against each other to determine who can be more "green" with the earth.

Throughout the 10-episode arc of the series, they are expected to accept challenges and spread awareness on the state of the environment. The battle will finish in a "green" carpet benefit concert at Los Angeles' renowned Greek Theater. The winner will get to headline the concert while the loser will be the opening act.

The concert raised more than $33,000, including a donation from Treeland. It benefits the renewal of wildfire-devastated Griffith Park. Some of the acts of the concert in the final episode include Duff McKagan, Ziggy Marley, The Blue Man Group, Slash, Train, and Rock Star Supernova among others.
