Michael J. Fox To Face Off With "The Good Wife"

Michael J. Fox will be facing off with "The Good Wife" as he guest stars in the CBS series in an upcoming episode. The five-time Emmy Award-winning actor will have a courtroom showdown with current Lead Actress nominee Julianna Margulies in the new season of the show.

The 49-year-old actor will be playing Simon Canning, a shrewd and cynical litigator who goes up against Margulies' character, Alicia, in a massive class action case.

Simon is "willing to use anything in court, including symptoms of his neurological condition, to create sympathy for his otherwise unsympathetic client: a giant pharmaceutical company."

Exec producers and show creators Robert and Michelle King said, "We're absolutely thrilled that Michael has agreed to play this role. His intelligence as an actor, combined with his incredible comic timing will really bring this smart, cynical lawyer to life."

"The Good Wife" will premiere its second season on September 28.
